One of the show’s many high points occurred next when the band took on the Prine classic “Angel From Montgomery,” which flowed into a debut cover of Styles’ emotionally-infused “Sign of the Times.” For the first time take, Tedeschi delivered Styles’ soulful written lyrics. Tedeschi Trucks Band ended the night’s initial set with a cover of Joni Mitchell’s “River.” Then, after a break from the fabled stage, they returned and dove head-first into their second frame on “I Can Feel You Smiling,” followed by “High & Mighty.” After a run-through of their title track, “I Am the Moon,” the band followed with a take on Blind Faith’s “Had to Cry Today” and continued with fan favorite “Midnight in Harlem.” Next up, the night’s guests, Gordon and Jeff “Tain” Watts assisted on a cover of Dr. The Saturday night gig got underway with “Shame” off Signs and was followed by a selection of tunes from the group’s I Am the Moon IV: Farewell on “D’Gary” and “Where Are My Friends?” Then, they moved into The Fall section of I Am the Moon with “Showhow” before working into the night’s first cover, with a take on The Allman Brothers Band’s “Stand Back.” The Fall selections continued with “Yes We Will” before they dipped into their part one, Crescent repertoire on “‘Round The Sun” and “Pasaquan.” John’s “I Walk on Guilded Splinters.” To follow up on their guest sit-in, the band broke into the John Prine staple “Angel From Montgomery,” which bled into a debut cover of Harry Style’s “Sign of the Times,” led by Susan Tedeschi.
